Once again, NASCAR Xfinity Series team JD Motorsports has teamed up with some of the storm industry's most powerful players – Mike's Weather Page, Firman Power Equipment, Coastal Claims, and Paratec Door Solutions – to sponsor Dawson Cram's No. 4 Chevrolet in the season-opening United Rentals 300 on Saturday, February 17 at 5 p.m.

This electrifying race car won't just be turning heads with its sleek design, it will be a rolling billboard for hurricane preparedness. Prominently featured on the No. 4 Chevy will be the logos of all the partnering companies, along with support from the Florida Division of Emergency Management, reminding everyone of the importance of being ready for those swirling tempests.

Dawson Cram to compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024 for JD Motorsports

GAFFNEY, S.C. – Dawson Cram, an up-and-coming driver who has packed a lot of racing into a few years of driving experience, will compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024 for JD Motorsports.

Johnny Davis, a veteran team owner who has fielded Xfinity cars for a string of young drivers, made the announcement Wednesday at his shop in Gaffney. Cram will drive the JDM No. 4 Chevrolet.

 “Dawson brings us a bright new perspective and a fire for racing,” Davis said. “He and his family have been involved in the sport since he was 5 years old, and we want to help him take his career to the next level. He’ll be a great addition to our team.”

 The new season won’t be Cram’s first experience with JDM. Three years ago, Cram worked as a mechanic for the team as he was continuing to learn the ins and outs of racing at the NASCAR level.

 Only 22 years old, Cram has driving experience in the Xfinity, Craftsman Truck and ARCA series. He has 31 Truck starts and 12 Xfinity starts and has driven for several teams, including his own Truck team.

 “I’m very excited to move along in NASCAR with Johnny’s team,” Cram said. “I’ve seen how they work and how they race every week, and I know they build good cars and fast cars. I know this will be a plus for me and the team.”

 Cram, who lives in Mooresville, N.C., began racing mini-dwarf cars at the age of 5 and progressed through Bandolero and Legends racing before jumping into NASCAR. After racing in the Truck Series, he made his Xfinity debut in 2021 with Mike Harmon Racing.

JD Motorsports is still looking for partners for the Driver and the #6 Chevrolet.

The 2024 Xfinity schedule, which stretches across the country and includes 33 races, will begin Feb. 17 at Daytona International Speedway.

July 27, 2023 – Houston, TX – BeONE Sports – developers of a platform where accomplished athletes’ movements are digitized into a phone app with the goal of creating a training paradigm for athletes to learn – today announced the first-of-its-kind collaboration with Mass St. Collective and the University of Kansas to bring a Collegiate NIL NASCAR car to the upcoming NASCAR race on September 9 at Kansas Speedway.

The collaboration also includes JD Motorsports, eleven (11) University of Kansas student-athletes being featured on the race car, and Mass St. Collective – the KU NIL Collective founded in 2021 to help Jayhawk student-athletes build their personal brand and benefit from their name, image and likeness.

“Our goal at Mass St. Collective is to find new and unique instances where we can grow the brand of our KU student-athletes in new and meaningful ways through name, image and likeness.” says Dan Beckler, President of Mass St. Collective. “To partner with BeOne Sports and have 11 Jayhawks on a NASCAR Xfinity Series Race car is something that has never been done before, and it’s an exciting way to bring NIL and college athletes to the racing industry. Additionally, BeONE Sports is developing technology to level the racetrack. With the technology available from BeONE Sports, JD Motorsports hopes to become more competitive with the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ top teams and is exploring a variety of applications using comparative training within the team.

Chicago-based Universal Beauty Products and JD Motorsports partner to take on Chicago Street Course

GAFFNEY, SC – JD Motorsports proudly announced today their new partnership with Universal Beauty Products’ Van Der Hagen brand and its range of high-quality shaving tools and products designed to provide the perfect shave every time.

JD Motorsports and Universal Beauty Products are set to take on the first street course in NASCAR’s 75 year history in The Loop 121 in downtown Chicago on Saturday, July 1st.

Orange-and-white Van Der Hagen branding will adorn Brennan Poole’s No. 6 Chevrolet entry. In addition, the No. 6 Van Der Hagen Chevy will be a part of the action on NBC/USA Network’s nationally-televised broadcast, as the car will feature in-car camera technology.

The Chicago Street Course is a 2.140 mi street circuit built exclusively for this first-time race. The Xfinity Series will race on the course on July 1 and the NASCAR Cup Series will race on Sunday, July 2.

“I’m excited to be behind the wheel of the No. 6 Van Der Hagen Chevy for so many reasons,” said the 32-year-old Poole, who celebrated his 100th Xfinity Series start earlier this year. “First, Van Der Hagen produces a great product that can be found in major retailers across the country. Second, they are joining me in Chicago on NASCAR’s first ever street course race in their hometown - which is crazy in itself!”

“Lastly, we are being fitted with an in-car camera which will let race fans join me in the cockpit of the No. 6 Van Der Hagen Chevy on national television. Man, I cannot wait to get to Chicago.”
