FULLTIME JD MOTORSPORTS DRIVER BRENNAN POOLE AND MACC DOOR SYSTEMS TEAM UP FOR SIX RACES STARTING WITH DAYTONA

FULLTIME JD MOTORSPORTS DRIVER BRENNAN POOLE AND MACC DOOR SYSTEMS TEAM UP FOR SIX RACES STARTING WITH DAYTONA

GAFFNEY, S.C. -- Brennan Poole is ready for his moment. After a three-race run with JD Motorsports at the end of the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the Texas driver is back with the Gaffney, S.C. based team for a full-season Xfinity campaign this year.

“It’s been a few years since I went the distance in the Xfinity Series, and I’m more than ready to buckle in and give it my best shot,” Poole said. “I know enough about the JD Motorsports operation to know that Johnny (team owner Johnny Davis) and his people always put solid cars on the track. We’ll be more than ready to go when we arrive in Daytona.”

The 33-race Xfinity schedule opens at Daytona International Speedway, on Feb. 18, the day before the Daytona 500 Cup Series opener.

Poole, 31, has raced two full seasons (2016 and 2017) and portions of two others in Xfinity cars. In 2015, he started 17 races, scoring a pair of top 10s.

Poole will ride into Daytona with the strong sponsorship backing of Macc Door Systems, a family-owned company that has supplied garage doors and openers to installation companies and building suppliers for the past 20 years.

Macc will sponsor Poole at Daytona, the series’ two Las Vegas races, Talladega, Nashville and Bristol. “Any time we can team with Macc, it’s a good thing,” said Davis. “We feel like we know the people there as family, and working together to boost both of our teams is an upfront goal as we move into the new season.”

Poole’s racing background perfectly prepared him for a strong run at Xfinity Series success. He racked up 90 wins in quarter-midget racing and won the 2002 national championship in that very competitive division. He moved up to Legends racing on asphalt, scoring 96 wins in two years.

Poole moved to dirt modifieds in 2007 and won the Texas World Dirt Track Championship. In three following years in asphalt late models, he won 10 times and became the first driver in UARA history to win three races in a row and six in a season. He won the UARA championship in 2011 and twice was named the series most popular driver.

Poole jumped into ARCA racing in 2011, winning in his first start at Salem Speedway. In 35 ARCA starts, he won six times, establishing himself as a candidate for rides in NASCAR’s top three national series.

After running in Xfinity and doing well, Poole ran 35 of 36 Cup Series races in 2020, scoring a ninth in heavy traffic at Talladega.

Now Poole is back with force in Xfinity and ready to do the full February-to-November sweep through the schedule.

“I have a lot of experience in this series, and I know a lot about the tracks,” Poole said. “I feel like we can make some noise this year. I’m anxious to get started.”

An innovator and influencer in the digital arena, Poole was the first driver to vlog. He also developed a monetized YouTube channel with his “Running with the Bull” series. The content was featured at tracks on video screens and acquired hundreds of thousands of impressions across social and digital media.

Although Poole is dedicated and devoted to racing, his interests cover a wide spectrum. He is involved in extreme sports, skateboarding, music and media.

Brennan Poole full time in the 6, JD Motorsports moving forward in 2023

Brennan Poole full time in the 6, JD Motorsports moving forward in 2023

GAFFNEY, S.C. – With drivers Bayley Currey and Brennan Poole signed for the new season and shop mechanics busy preparing new Chevrolets, JD Motorsports is ramping up for the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule.

Currey will return to the team’s No. 4 Chevrolets after scoring five top-15 runs, including a 10th-place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, in the 2022 season. The Texas driver finished 28 of the 33 races on last year’s schedule.

Poole joined JDM late in 2022, running three races and scoring a 14th-place finish in the No. 6 car at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Poole, also from Texas, is on board for the full Xfinity schedule in the No. 6 Chevys.

Davis, who has fielded cars in Xfinity racing beginning with the 1983 season, plans to run Currey and Poole full-time in 2023 and is working toward also putting the team’s No. 0 cars on track.

“We’re full throttle here and getting ready to go,” Davis said. “Bayley and Brennan are signed on and looking forward to chasing races and points next year. We’re actively moving along looking for sponsor commitments and for drivers and sponsors for the No. 0 car.

“We’ve always taken the approach here that we want to go after the series with multiple cars, and that’s how we’re looking toward 2023. The new schedule is very interesting and provides new challenges to our drivers and team members.”

Davis’ shop on the outskirts of Gaffney, near the North Carolina-South Carolina line, has fielded cars over the years for Ross Chastain, Ryan Preece, Landon Cassill, Joe Nemechek, Garrett Smithley, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Katherine Legge and many other drivers.

“We’ve built a strong base of operations here,” Davis said. “We’ve been a pathway to success for drivers like Ross Chastain and Ryan Preece, who now have strong rides in the Cup Series.

“I think we’ve established a solid name in the Xfinity Series. Our cars continue to show improvement, and we’re looking to 2023 as a season when we can take another step up.”

Eric Estepp’s Out of the Groove Will Run as Primary Sponsor For First Time Ever at Phoenix

Eric Estepp’s Out of the Groove Will Run as Primary Sponsor For First Time Ever at Phoenix

Gaffney, SC-For the first time ever, Eric Estepp’s Out of the Groove, a YouTube community of nearly 200,000 NASCAR fans, will be the primary sponsor on JD Motorsports / Brennan Poole No. 6 Chevrolet at this year’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship race at Phoenix.

While Out of the Groove has appeared on several cars in the last several years, this marks the first time Eric Estepp and his NASCAR news and talk YouTube Channel will be the primary sponsor of a car.

And he won’t be alone! Out of the Groove will be riding along with a group of his partners who participated in his and A.E. Engine’s charity esports iRacing event, Groovy Hollow 2 on October 26.

“Our partners this year were so generous with their support,” said Eric Estepp, host of Out of the Groove, “so I can’t wait to see Brennan take them around Phoenix in the championship race!”.

The car will be driven this weekend by Brennan Poole, who has raced at Phoenix many times before.

“Eric has so many amazing fans and to see their support of him and this car has been so cool,” says Brennan. “I feel honored to be the driver that gets to wheel the first OOTG primary sponsorship car. I really enjoy the Phoenix track and I’m looking forward to getting out there and having a strong run for the Groovy Gang.”

This unique partnership started as a collaboration between Out of the Groove, A.E. Engine, and the other partners during this year’s Groovy Hollow 2 iRacing charity event. As part of the Halloween-themed event, these partners helped raise over $10,000 for Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network charity. Along with that generosity, they also helped fund the Out of the Groove No. 6 Chevrolet.

Participating partners include: Brand South Africa, Fort Worth Screen Printing, Year One Parts, Minutemen Coffee, 18.21 Man Made, Bring It On Cleaner, Garage Oil Spirits, Performance Distributors, Iggy’s Sports Cards & Collectibles, Lionel Racing, Nature’s Garden, Auto Repair Vin Stickers, National Metering Services, Pristine Auctions, Don Pablo Coffee, Victory Consultants, Across the Board, Clore Automotive, Thread Wizard, Habana Brisa, Weathertech All South Electrical Constructors Inc., AUTOParkit, Petty’s Garage, and Forney Industries.

“We are all very excited for not only Eric (Estepp) but also his Out of the Groove community,” says Craig Baroncelli, founder of A.E. Engine. “If this doesn’t light up his YouTube community, nothing will.”

The Out of the Groove No. 6 Chevrolet will also feature the names of 250 members of Eric’s online community, the Groovy Gang, all of whom pre-ordered the Out of the Groove diecast during the Groovy Hollow 2 broadcast. In addition to the diecast pre-order, a limited edition t-shirt set was produced to commemorate the sponsorship. These items can be found at groovymotorsports.com/shop

The NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship airs live on USA, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Ch. 90) on Saturday, November 5 at 3:00pm EST

“For our introduction to NASCAR, we are bringing "The Children's Haven" along for the ride. The Children's Haven speaks for those who can't speak for themselves, successfully fulfilling the mission of promoting the health and happiness of children impacted by abuse. This is a matter that is very close to our hearts at Critical Path Security.” Stated Kelley.

“Together, using the incredible platform NASCAR provides, we hope to draw more awareness — thereby offering an opportunity to reduce the impact of abuse on children everywhere—starting at home.” He continued.

Be sure to watch the No.6 Critical Path Security Chevrolet on Saturday, October 8th for the Drive for the Cure 250.
